Put simply, Online or Cloud accounting is a means of accessing and processing your accounting data over the internet, rather than installing and running it on your computer.

Your accounting data is securely stored in the Cloud, rather than on a hard drive, which gives you the benefit of access from anywhere, any time, using multiple devices including your desktop and mobile phone. Even better is there is no longer the need to take backup’s of your files, thanks to automatic data backup and storage at multiple secure offsite locations.

There are numerous software packages on the market, like Xero, which makes the decision-making process quite confusing. Here at Shakespeare Rae we can guide you through this process by assessing your needs and offering the ideal recommendation for you and your business.
